At Opaa!, we're known for food that looks, smells and most importantly tastes good. Cooking from scratch is one of our trademarks. Students love our hot, made-from-scratch rolls as much as they enjoy our fresh-from-the-oven whole grain breads.

Family-style cooking makes sense financially, too. It enables us to make the most of the flour, eggs, margarine and other government commodities your district receives.

"I also wanted to share with you something that I have not witnessed in my 22 years in education. About a month or so ago, we had tomato soup for lunch, the cooks made it from scratch and according to the kids it was really good. I was standing in line and a young girl came in with a piece of paper and a pen asking the cook to write down the recipe so she could have her mom make it at home! Needless to say, I had the soup and it was great."
